Rising Up: Maria Roberts honoured by Siempre Mujer

Rise Up co-founder Maria Roberts was recently featured in Siempre Mujer, the leading magazine for Latina women in the United States. Maria is one of their Siempre Inspiran honorees for 2008. You can view the magazine spread below.







Maria was flown out to New York City, where she attended a Siempre Inspiran honoree reception with her Mother.

Rise Up Clothing featured in WGSN

As many of you know, Rise Up has a clothing line that supports the work we are doing overseas. Last year, 75% of our budget was covered from the sales of the clothing. The new Fall season is in production now and will be ready for purchase in boutiques all around the world soon. In the meantime, take a sneak peak at the new line at our new clothing website here. WGSN, the world's leading online research, trend analysis and news service for the fashion and style industries recently featured the new line in their Graphics Trend Report from the POOL tradeshow in Las Vegas last August.



Designer, Blogger, and Rise Up Board Member Ashley Owlita was also featured in their report. Ashley gives a percentage of her profits to Rise Up International. You can read her Rising Up Fashion Blog here.
